Wichita State's Police Department was recognized recently as one of the top three most successful public safety departments raising money for Wichita Big Brothers Big Sister's during the 2012 Cops For Kids Bowl -- Battle for the Badge. Members of the university police department, led by former Big Sister, UPD officer Richelle Stoner, has continued to be involved in this community-wide fundraising activity to help area youth. UPD officer Heather Ballard accepted the coveted Golden Pin Battle for the Badge Award.
