* Registration for spring classes for current and newly admitted students can be done online at http://www.wichita.edu, then log into myWSU. If you prefer, you can register in person from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, and 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Wednesday through Friday at the Office of the Registrar in Jardine Hall or call 978-3090. Most spring classes begin Tuesday, Jan. 22.
* Obtaining biometric values is the first step toward earning your HealthQuest reward for 2014.

* MFA students from across the region are included in the juried exhibition "How Much Can We Control?" on view through its closing reception from 5-7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, in Clayton Staples Gallery, McKnight Art Center.

* Lois Tatro, director of Financial Operations and Business Technology, will present WSU Finance 101 on Tuesday, Jan. 15. The presentation includes information on GU and RU funding, how to stay on top of departmental finances, processing revenue, expenses, BPC cards, travel and more. Seating is limited, view session details and register at myWSU, EmpHelp (orange cube underneath the weather) and myTraining.

* Students, faculty and staff are needed to help members of the WSU community complete free federal and state income tax returns. Free online training and certification for volunteers is provided by the IRS. Volunteers are needed from early February through April 15.
