* Lois Tatro, director of Financial Operations and Business Technology, will present WSU Finance 101 on Tuesday, Jan. 15. Seating is limited, view session details and register at myWSU, EmpHelp (orange cube underneath the weather) and myTraining.

* Remember to submit your campus events to the online calendar for Wichita State. Early entry is crucial to campus planners, campus media and statewide print and broadcast media, all of whom need to know the time, date, place and cost of any individual event.

* The next Service-Learning Exploration luncheon meeting is scheduled from noon-3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1, in 307-309 NIAR. Please RSVP to jeanne.patton@wichita.edu for this luncheon meeting.

* Still want a flu shot? Student Health Services has administered all of their flu vaccine, but several local pharmacies and doctor offices still have seasonal flu vaccine available. Check out Flu Shot Finder at flushot.healthmap.org/ to find local pharmacies providing flu shots or check with your primary care provider.

* Kansas Gov. Sam Brownback announced that the awards for the winning teams in the Governor's Weight Loss Challenge will total more than $14,000. The prizes are made possible by two health plans with a presence in Kansas: UnitedHealth Group and Coventry Health Care of Kansas.
