Ulrich brings 'Small Pleasures' to building's facade

While conservation of the Ulrich Museum's Miro mural is under way, the museum's facade will feature a temporary art installation by Levente Sulyok, WSU assistant professor of painting and drawing in the School of Art and Design.

The work, titled "Small Pleasures," includes a banner 26 feet by 52 feet, installed behind a miniature display box containing objects that will be curated and rotated throughout the year. Viewing telescopes will be installed south of the building on the island that holds Tom Otterness' "Millipede" so visitors can see the objects displayed.

"Small Pleasures" will remain in place until fall 2016 when the Miro mural is reinstalled. Do you have a suggestion as to what should be displayed? Go to smallpleasures.org.
