Changes in Institutional Research

Donna Hawley, assistant vice president and director of the Office of Institutional Research, has stepped down as director to begin a six-month phased retirement to oversee a Board of Regents' grant related to general education and student success. Hawley was appointed director in 1999 and helped advance the use of institutional data for strategic planning.

David Wright, interim associate provost, will assume responsibility for IR and oversee its transition to the Office of Planning and Analysis in the coming weeks.

The Office of Planning and Analysis provides data and analysis for strategic planning and decision-making, university assessment data and, with the incorporation of IR, reporting of data to external entities. See the Office of Planning and Analysis website for more information.
