Homecoming 2013: Get Your Spirit Up! Homecoming 2013: Get Your Spirit Up!

The party is on for the week of Feb. 4-9, when Shockers come together to celebrate Homecoming 2013. Campus Shockers are also invited to join in the spirited rivalry of the Homecoming 2013 decorations contest. Faculty/staff winners with the best decorations will net an office party worth $150, and student winners will nab $150 in cash for their organization.

This not-to-be-missed celebration kicks off Monday, Feb. 4, at the Rhatigan Student Center with student voting for Homecoming royalty. The Homecoming 2013 king and queen will be crowned at halftime of the Shockers vs. the Missouri State Bears game, set to tip off at 6:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 9 at Charles Koch Arena.

Among the festivities are special activities around the Feb. 8 women's home basketball game and the Shocking Nearly Naked Run, with its goal of helping clothe the homeless.
