* Join the spirited rivalry of the Homecoming 2013 decorations contest. Faculty/staff winners with the best decorations will net an office party worth $150, and student winners will nab $150 in cash for their organization.

* Christin Mamiya, a co-author of the go-to art history textbook "Gardner's Art Through the Ages," will give a Buzz-Worthy Art Talk at 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 31, in 210 McKnight Art Center west. Mamiya will speak on "Full House: Pop Art, Domesticity and Consumer Culture." Admission is free.
