* This week's Wu Wednesday event is "At Your Cervix: National Cervical Health Awareness Month" sponsored by Student Health Services from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. today (Wednesday, Jan. 30) on first floor, RSC. Student Health will have an informational booth about women and their cervical health.

* Faculty, teaching staff and graduate students are invited to the presentation "Information Literacy for Teaching and Learning" on Thursday, Jan. 31, from noon to 1 p.m., in 217 Ablah Library. * Join the spirited rivalry of the Homecoming 2013 decorations contest. Faculty/staff winners with the best decorations will net an office party worth $150, and student winners will nab $150 in cash for their organization.

* Christin Mamiya, a co-author of the go-to art history textbook "Gardner's Art Through the Ages," will give a Buzz-Worthy Art Talk at 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 31, in 210 McKnight Art Center west. Mamiya will speak on "Full House: Pop Art, Domesticity and Consumer Culture." Admission is free.
