Wichita State to name Jabara Scholarship winners

Two Wichita-area high school seniors will be named winners of the the 2013 Fran Jabara Scholarship in Entrepreneurship by Wichita State University’s Center for Entrepreneurship at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, in the second floor conference room in Devlin Hall. Media are welcome to attend.

The scholarship, one of the most prestigious at WSU, awards each recipient $20,000 over four years. To compete, a student must have a minimum ACT score of 24, a minimum GPA of 3.5 and be a declared entrepreneurship major.

The scholarship is named for Fran Jabara, former dean of the College of Business Administration at WSU.
