Reminders

* During spring break (March 18-22), the WSU Foundation will not have the normal check cycle. If you have an urgent check, we will handle only those during spring break, and you will need to contact Mel Arnold at 978-5215. Checks will be issued on Friday, March 15, and Friday, March 29. If you have questions, call Jenny Anderson at 978-3802.

* Power to Hubbard Hall will be shut down at 6 p.m. today (Friday, March 15). Elevators will be shut down about one hour prior to that. Power will be restored at 6 a.m. Saturday, March 16.

* All probationary faculty are invited to a Pre-Tenure Club meeting from 3-4 p.m. today (Friday, March 15) in 116 Neff Hall. Please register at ofdss@wichita.edu or 978-3209.

* Internationally renowned opera star and WSU alum Samuel Ramey, who has been a Distinguished Visiting Artist in Residence at WSU since fall 2012, will host his students in a concert of arias and opera scenes at 7:30 p.m. today (Friday, March 15) in Miller Concert Hall. * The WSU softball team will host Indiana State in a doubleheader at noon Saturday, March 16, and noon Sunday, March 17, at Wilkins Stadium. For tickets, call 978-FANS (3267).

* Undergraduate Admissions is looking for students to become 2013-2014 orientation leaders. Candidates must possess strong academic, interpersonal and leadership skills and a passion for Wichita State.
