* A training session for Intermediate Word 2010 will be offered from 1-3 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, in 119 Jabara Hall. This hands-on training focuses on tabs, tables and tracked changes, which is sometimes referred to as redlining. To view training dates and register for the class, log into myWSU, select EmpHelp, (orange cube underneath the Weather) and myTraining. Click the Register button to view session details and register for training.
* The submission deadline for abstracts from undergraduate students participating in the Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity Forum is Tuesday, March 26.

* How green is your office? The WSU Green Office program is a new initiative to recognize campus departments and offices that are making an effort to reduce environmental impacts and create a more sustainable workplace. Offices that turn in an application to Student Involvement by Monday, April 8, are eligible for recognition at Earth Day Wichita!, at noon Monday, April 22.

* Attention, WSU faculty and staff: Your young daughters, nieces or granddaughters can get a 20 percent discount for the upcoming Jody Adams Shocker Girls Basketball Summer Camps 2013 from June 16-23. Contact Michael Gomez at 978-6637 or mgomez@goshockers.com to get more information and to sign up.
* Plan on coming to the Wichita State Health Fair from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, in the Heskett Center gymnasium. Health Fair visitors have an opportunity to earn two HealthQuest points for reduced health care.
* WSU Fire Safety along with contractors will conduct the annual fire alarm and fire sprinkler testing in all buildings on campus during spring break week now through Sunday, March 24. During this testing, the fire alarm will sound in the building being tested. Signage will be posted when testing is ongoing in the building.
