* Because some WSU band members will be traveling to support our men's basketball team, please note the cancellation of the WSU Jazz Arts and Guitar Ensemble concert scheduled for 7:30 p.m. today (Tuesday, March 26) in Miller Concert Hall and cancellation of the WSU Concert Band concert at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 27.

* Faculty, staff and instructors are invited to RSVP by today (Tuesday, March 26) to leeann.birdwell@wichita.edu for a panel discussion presented by the Tilford Commission called "Veterans in the Classroom: Issues and Perspectives," from noon-1:30 p.m. Monday, April 1, in 307-309 NIAR. * WSU Libraries is offering the workshop Surviving Group Projects: Online Collaboration Tools from 3-4 p.m. today (Tuesday, March 26) and 2-3 p.m. Monday, April 1, in the Ablah Library Learning Center.

* A training session for Intermediate Word 2010 will be offered from 1-3 p.m. today (Tuesday, March 26) in 119 Jabara Hall. * Nationally known military and LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender) rights activist Lt. Dan Choi will address issues of campus inclusion for LGBT students, faculty and staff at 3 p.m. today (Tuesday, March 26) in 209 Hubbard Hall. Choi also will be the Pride Week featured speaker at 7 p.m. in 208 Hubbard Hall.

* "The brave new world of HIV/AIDS prevention" is the public lecture for the Watkins Visiting Professorship Lecture Series at 4 p.m. today (Tuesday, March 26) in 209 Hubbard Hall. The guest lecturer is Michael Hendry, a world-renowned virologist and public health researcher.

* Student Involvement is seeking engaged and highly motivated students to serve as ambassadors for the 2013/2014 academic year. These students will work with professionals in a volunteer capacity in the development of many new programs and initiatives to satisfy student needs.
