Via Christi Health CEO to present lecture to seniors

Jeff Korsmo, president and CEO of Via Christi Health, will give a lecture to Wichita State University School of Nursing graduating seniors at 1 p.m. today (Monday, March 25) in 200 Ahlberg Hall. The lecture will bring key learning objectives to life for WSU students -- the importance of safety, quality and an outcomes-based focus.

Via Christi Health is an important community partner for the School of Nursing and College of Health Professions.

Wichita State students work side-by-side with Via Christi health care staff to strengthen their professional skills, and many of the graduates practice throughout their system.

By speaking to WSU graduating seniors, Korsmo further helps students solidify textbook knowledge and strengthens their ability to understand how their individual actions impact patient outcomes and the larger health-care system.
