* More than 1,100 Kansas students will put their creative and scientific skills to the test Saturday, April 6, in the 26th annual Kansas Science Olympiad tournament, hosted by Wichita State.

* The parking lot adjacent to the Coleman Tennis Complex will be reserved Monday, April 8-Thursday, April 11, and Saturday, April 13, for Hippodrome truck parking.
* New campus maps are available to be picked up from 8 a.m.-noon and 1-5 p.m. weekdays in the Office of University Relations, 102 Morrison Hall. Faculty and staff are welcome to count out and pick up maps on a first-come, first-served basis as long as supplies last.
* Tuition assistance for benefits eligible, nonteaching employees at WSU is available for summer. Staff are limited to a maximum of a three credit-hour class for the summer term.

* The Intensive English Language Center needs volunteers -- especially drivers -- to be conversation leaders. You will be conversation partners spending time on Wednesdays helping international students practice English conversation skills. If you are a native speaker of American English and would like to volunteer, please send an email expressing your interest to william.thomas@wichita.edu.
* The Shocker Pride Celebration will be held Wednesday, April 24, in 209 Hubbard Hall. There will be a reception to meet and greet the honorees at 3 p.m., followed by the awards presentation at 3:30 p.m. Please respond to the Shocker Pride Celebration invitation and confirm attendance to campus box 62 by Wednesday, April 17.
