Psychology Department Colloquium to feature Amanda Harrist

Amanda Harrist, associate professor, Department of Human Development and Family Science at Oklahoma State University, will present "The Families and Schools for Health (FISH) Project: A Prospective Longitudinal Study of Rural Child Obesity" from 3:30-5 p.m. Tuesday, April 9, in 126 Jabara Hall. Harrist is the first speaker for this spring's Psychology Department Colloquium. Her research centers on the development of children's social competence as it is related to family and peer groups. She is interested in interventions for children at risk in early social settings.
