Reminders

* The Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity Forum (URCAF) will take place today (Tuesday, April 9) at Hughes Metropolitan Complex. Faculty and staff are encouraged to come and support the undergraduate students who will showcase their work. URCAF is open to the public.

* Amanda Harrist, associate professor, Department of Human Development and Family Science at Oklahoma State University, will present "The Families and Schools for Health (FISH) Project: A Prospective Longitudinal Study of Rural Child Obesity" from 3:30-5 p.m. today (Tuesday, April 9) in 126 Jabara Hall.

* The Rie Bloomfield Organ Series will feature "Organized Rhythm" by Clive Driskill-Smith, organ, and Joseph Gramley, percussion, at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 9, in Wiedemann Recital Hall. * The Performance Management Process for classified employees requires a mid-year discussion between April 1 and June 30. You will not assign a rating, but you will discuss the established objectives and competencies and the employee's progress toward meeting these goals. After the discussion with the employee, have him/her sign on page 10 of the form under mid-year discussion signatures to document that the discussion took place. * Please announce the following information to students: File your state and federal income tax returns for free with help from IRS trained and certified volunteers. Call 978-3209 or email tim.hagan@wichita.edu for an appointment. Additional help for FAFSA completion is available to students.

* Travel the globe during lunch. The "Around the World Wednesdays: WSU's Cultural Ambassador" presentation series continues with a presentation on Sri Lanka from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 10, in Ablah Library, Leisure Reading Room (first floor, in reserve area). Feel free to bring your lunch.
