Student research gets showcased at state capitol

Six Wichita State students participated in Kansas Undergraduate Research Day at the Capitol last week in Topeka. About 90 students from Kansas Board of Regents institutions took part. "This was a wonderful opportunity to showcase the research being done by undergraduates from WSU and around the state," said Bill Vanderburgh, executive director of Faculty Development and Student Success. "For most of the participants this was their first opportunity to present their own research to a non-specialist audience. There was a lot of excitement in the Capitol Rotunda."
