* The fiscal year 2014 budget process begins at the departmental level with the entering of budget information into WSU's Enterprise Reporting software. Budget officers and budget review officers for state orgs (non-research orgs) are invited to attend one of the upcoming FY14 Budget Information and Enterprise Reporting Training Sessions or the open lab session for individual help.

* The WSU Department of Philosophy announces two upcoming talks by respected Kant scholar Lawrence Pasternack from the Department of Philosophy at Oklahoma State University at 2 p.m. today (Thursday, April 11) and Friday, April 12, in 224 McKinley Hall.

* Social work students are hosting a documentary screening of the Oscar-winning documentary "Inocente" at 6 p.m. today (Thursday, April 11) in 208 Hubbard Hall. It is an inspiring documentary of hope despite the difficulties of homelessness from a youth's perspective.

* Hippodrome opening night skit performances will be presented at 7 p.m. today (Thursday, April 11) in the CAC Theater. Watch student organizations perform for Wichita State's longest-running campus tradition. There is an admission charge.

* The WSU School of Performing Arts will present "Faith Healer" at 7:30 p.m. today (Thursday, April 11) through Saturday, April 13, and 2 p.m. Saturday, April 13, and Sunday, April 14, in Welsbacher Theatre, Hughes Metropolitan Complex, 29th and Oliver, Entrance F. The play is rated PG.

* Career Services is hosting a Job Search Workshop for December 2012, May 2013 and August 2013 graduates from 9 a.m.-noon Saturday, April 20, on WSU's main campus. The event is free, but students must sign up in 203 Grace Wilkie Hall by Wednesday, April 17. A $10 refundable deposit is required to sign up.
