By collecting, studying and re-presenting other people's discarded shopping and grocery lists, artist Adriane Herman pays homage to the everyday. Rachel Epp Buller, regional coordinator of The Feminist Art Project and assistant professor of art at Bethel College, interviews Herman on the ubiquitous nature of handwritten lists, and how we can learn from the intimate, yet anonymous, details of how others choose to spend their most precious resources of time, energy and attention. The talk, "Human Doings," begins at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 11, in 210 McKnight Art Center West (WSU School of Art and Design).
