* New campus maps are available to be picked up from 8 a.m.-noon and 1-5 p.m. weekdays in the Office of University Relations, 102 Morrison Hall. Faculty and staff are welcome to count out and pick up maps on a first-come, first-served basis as long as supplies last.
* The Performance Management Process for classified employees requires a mid-year discussion between April 1 and June 30. You will not assign a rating, but you will discuss the established objectives and competencies and the employee's progress toward meeting these goals. After the discussion with the employee, have him/her sign on page 10 of the form under mid-year discussion signatures to document that the discussion took place. If you have questions, call Joan Antes at 978-6151 or Frankie Brown at 978-3540.
* Please respond to the Shocker Pride Celebration invitation and confirm attendance to campus box 62 by Wednesday, April 17. Join in the celebration and congratulate the honorees. Show your Shocker pride by wearing your Shocker gear.
* Consider joining the At-Work Weight Watchers group that meets at noon Tuesdays in the Heskett Center. In total, members of the group have lost nearly 900 pounds. The cost is $39.95 per month until you achieve your goal weight -- then membership is free. For more information, contact Gayle Veltman at 978-6104 or gayle.veltman@wichita.edu.
