Reminders

* The Wichita Jazz Festival will be held today (Friday, April 19) and Saturday, April 20, in Miller Concert Hall. Two of the three events are free and open to the public. A third event will require tickets, but is free to students.

* The WSU baseball team will host Evansville at 6:30 p.m. today (Friday, April 19), 2 p.m. Saturday, April 20, and 1 p.m. Sunday, April 21, at Eck Stadium. The softball team will host Illinois State at noon Saturday and Sunday, April 20-21, at Wilkins Stadium. For tickets, call 978-FANS (3267).

* AHINSA and Indian Student Association at WSU have organized a festival of Holi (Festival of Color) from noon-4 p.m. Saturday, April 20, at the Heskett Center soccer playfield. Faculty and staff are invited to attend. Tickets are $5.

* Jump on the Wu Express and enjoy different inflatables and midway games at nominal ticket prices at the Family Carnival: Get on Board with Wu from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, April 20, on the Heskett Center west lawn.

* The WSU Foundation is now accepting applications for the 2013-2014 Core Values Scholarship. To apply, visit http://foundation.wichita.edu/about-us/core-values-scholarship. The application deadline is June 15.

* The Tilford Commission invites faculty and staff to its Incentive Grants Colloquium from noon-1:30 p.m. Friday, April 26, in 207 Heskett Center. Lunch is provided. Please RSVP to leeann.birdwell@wichita.edu by Monday, April 22.

* Benefits-eligible state employees who are enrolled in, or eligible for, the state employee health plan can receive a free biometric screening Monday, April 22; Thursday, April 25; and Friday, April 26, at the Heskett Center.
