Critically acclaimed jazz singer Tierney Sutton will bring her award-winning band to Wichita for the 42nd annual Wichita Jazz Festival at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 20, in Miller Concert Hall.

Their modern and innovative arrangements of traditional jazz standards have been a hit among jazz listeners for more than 20 years. For this special concert, they'll be joined by conductor Mark Laycock and the Wichita State University Symphony Orchestra to create a night that's sure to be a musical high point for Wichita in 2013.

Tickets for this event are available by calling the WSU Fine Arts Box Office at 978-3233. Tickets are $30 for adults and $10 for students. WSU students who present an ID in person will be admitted free.
