The David and Sally Jackman Scholarly Lecture Series and the Department of Anthropology will present two talks by Marc Levine at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 18, in 211 Hubbard Hall, and 4:30 p.m. Friday, April 19, in 100 Lindquist Hall. Thursday's lecture is titled "Obsidian Reflections: Symbolic Dimensions of Obsidian Use in Ancient Mesoamerica," and Friday's talk will be "An Archaeology of Social Life at the Mixtec Capital of Tututepec, Oaxaca (Mexico)."
