Applications requested for 2013-14 Honors Faculty Fellows

Up to five Honors Faculty Fellows will be selected for 2013-14 to work on Honors program and curriculum development. Each Fellow will receive a summer stipend of $2,000 for significant work on curriculum development in May and June 2013, and each will serve on at least one of several possible Honors College development task forces during the 2013-14 academic year.

Fellows will work collaboratively to review Honors curricula; determine Honors student outcomes; consult with the departments, colleges and offices across campus on Honors curriculum development; draft curriculum proposals and other academic program documents; and make recommendations to the director of the Honors Program and the Faculty Senate Honors Committee.

In addition, each Fellow may propose an Honors seminar, course or colloquium to be offered in spring or fall 2014 for an additional stipend or course release.

For this first group of Honors Faculty Fellows, preference will be given to faculty who have some prior experience with Honors at Wichita State or another institution.

Please submit a statement of interest and CV by Friday, April 26, to Kimberly Engber, director, Emory Lindquist Honors Program, campus box 102 or honors@wichita.edu. If you have questions, contact Kimberly Engber at kimberly.engber@wichita.edu.
