* The Human Resources Center will be closed for a staff retreat from 1-5 p.m today (Tuesday, April 23).

* Renowned anthropologist Mary Catherine Bateson will present "An Anthropologist looks at the Abrahamic faiths: Judaism, Christianity and Islam," at 2 p.m. today (Tuesday, April 23) in 100 Lindquist Hall.

* Join the Office of Multicultural Affairs and WSU's cultural student organizations as we come together as one community to celebrate the end of the academic year at a unity picnic from 3-6 p.m. today (Tuesday, April 23) in the Heskett Center lobby. There will be games and free food, until supplies run out.

* The fiscal year 2014 budget process begins at the departmental level with the entering of budget information into WSU's Enterprise Reporting software. Budget officers and budget review officers for state orgs (non-research orgs) are invited to attend one of the upcoming FY14 Budget Information and Enterprise Reporting Training Sessions or the open lab session for individual help.

* Wu Wednesday presents a 1.5-mile fitness challenge on the Shocker Walk Path at 4:24 p.m. Wednesday, April 24. The cost is $10 per person or $7 each for groups of four or more participants. Proceeds go to the American Heart Association and local charity Rainbows. The first 50 registrants will receive a white Shocker Walker T-shirt. Register at the Heskett Center.
