Department of Human Performance Studies to host lecture series before Friday's open house

The Department of Human Performance Studies will host an Exercise Physiology Invited Lecture Series open to all campus and community members from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Friday, April 26, in 100 Lindquist Hall.

"Post-Workout Nutritional Protocols for Optimal Recovery" by Kristina Kendall, Georgia Southern University

"The Application of Blood Flow Restriction: An Evidence Based Progressive Model" by Jeremy Loenneke, University of Oklahoma

"Things Aren’t Always as They Seem: Inappropriate Use of Statistics in Biomedical Research" by Travis Beck, University of Oklahoma

Following the presentations, the Department of Human Performance Studies will host a reception for WSU faculty, students and community supporters to introduce the new Human Performance Research and Learning Lab from 1:30-5 p.m.
