* The Unclassified Professional spring general meeting will be held from 3-4:30 p.m. Thursday, May 2, in 211 Hubbard Hall. Plan to attend and hear updates from President Bardo and Vice President Mary Herrin. In addition, the UP Senate election results will be announced.

* University Relations and The Research Partnership, a local research firm, will report on the latest WSU Perception Study conducted in late 2012 and early 2013. The meeting is open to anyone interested from 2:30-4 p.m. Wednesday, May 1, in 231 Hubbard Hall.

* Modern classical languages and literatures, political science and Sigma Delta PI invite you to the second symposium "Mapping Latin America Through its Literatures and Cultures" from 4:30-6 p.m. Thursday, May 2, in 100 Lindquist Hall. These student presentations, given in Spanish, explore how Latin America has been constructed, invented and represented through its literatures and cultures.

* The Intensive English Language Center needs volunteers -- especially drivers -- to be conversation leaders. You will be conversation partners spending time on Wednesdays helping international students practice English conversation skills. If you are a native speaker of American English and would like to volunteer, please send an email expressing your interest to william.thomas@wichita.edu.
