* Find out the basics for learning how to study more efficiently or pick up a few new methods in this Words for Wellness presentation from noon-12:30 p.m. today (Monday, May 6) in 206 Heskett Center.

* A retirement celebration for Sabrina Perez-Glatt will be held from 4:30-6 p.m. today (Monday, May 6) in 180 Hughes Metropolitan Complex. Perez-Glatt has been director of field practicum with the School of Social Work for the past 17 years. Come wish her well as she completes this chapter in her service to the university, the School of Social Work and as she prepares for her next big adventures.

* Mike Wood's retirement reception will be held from 2-4 p.m. Thursday, May 9, at the Media Resources Center. Remarks will be at 3 p.m. Wood, executive director of the Media Resources Center, has been at the MRC for almost 28 years.

* A poster presentation -- "Thinking in Parallel to Save Time, Energy, and Climate" -- will be dislpayed from 9:45-10:45 a.m. Tuesday, May 7, in Beggs Hall lobby. The work was done by engineering students.

* The WSU Graduate School will host the ninth annual university-wide Graduate Research and Scholarly Projects Symposium (GRASP) from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Wednesday, May 8, in the Marcus Welcome Center. Judges are needed.
