Shocker bowlers honored Shocker bowlers honored

Four women on the Shocker Bowling team were honored recently at the Night of Champions banquet in Lincoln, Neb. The banquet is held in conjunction with the Intercollegiate Team Championships.

Senior Jazreel Tan earned a spot as a First Team All-American. This is her fourth consecutive year earning the honor. She is only the second person in college bowling history to do so.

Tan also earned Collegiate Bowler of the Year. This is her third consecutive time earning the award. She is the only female college bowler to earn it three times, let alone three consecutive times.

Junior Tannya Roumimper earned the Most Valuable Player award for this season as well as a First Team All-American award.

Junior Kelsey Muther earned a Second Team All-American award for her efforts this season.

Freshman Dasha Kovalova earned two Honorable Mention awards for her first season with the Shockers.
