* Matthew Eames, a ceramic artist originating from Cape Cod, Mass., will be the featured artist at Senior Wednesday (for art enthusiasts 55+) today (Wednesday, May 15) at the Ulrich Museum. Complimentary refreshments are at 10 a.m.; presentation at 10:30 a.m. with free admission.
* Federal regulations and a new WSU policy now require all faculty and course instructors to communicate to students in their course syllabi how a credit hour is defined.

* There are some important updates coming to Blackboard and Panopto before the start of the summer term. Older, archived courses are scheduled to be removed on June 28.

* More than 2,200 students are eligible to participate in the 115th spring commencement ceremonies Friday and Saturday, May 17-18, in Charles Koch Arena.

* Several sections of LASI 170 Introduction to Library Research are offered for fall 2013. Some sections meet face-to-face in Ablah Library (seating is limited) at 12:30 p.m. on Thursdays, and several sections meets online. The first eight-week sections begin Aug. 19, and the second eight-week sections begin Oct. 10.
