One of the oldest MFA programs in the nation, the WSU Master of Fine Arts in studio arts has produced regionally and nationally acclaimed artists. Meet Matthew Eames, a ceramic artist originating from Cape Cod, Mass., at Senior Wednesday (for art enthusiasts 55+) on Wednesday, May 15, at the Ulrich Museum. Complimentary refreshments are at 10 a.m.; presentation at 10:30 a.m. with free admission. Eames recently opened his MFA thesis exhibition, some three years in the making. Using clay and other materials to create intriguing installations, Eames continues the tradition of bridging boundaries between media.
