Several sections of LASI 170 Introduction to Library Research are offered for fall 2013. Some sections meet face-to-face in Ablah Library (seating is limited) at 12:30 p.m. on Thursdays, and several sections meets online. The first eight-week sections begin on Aug. 19, and the second eight-week sections begin Oct. 10.

Students who are adept at using library resources are more likely to succeed in their classes. LASI 170 takes students through each step in the process of writing a term paper; choosing a topic, locating information in a variety of sources, organizing the information and creating the bibliography.
