Sharon Iorio, dean of the College of Education for the past six years, will step down as dean at the end of this fiscal year and begin a phased retirement for two years. An interim dean will be appointed for next fiscal year and a national search will be conducted for a new permanent dean. During the next two years, Iorio will remain in the College of Education and continue to serve as principal investigator of the Wichita Teacher Quality Partnership. In addition, she will complete a book manuscript about the Wichita Teacher Quality Partnership.
