* Student Health will be closed today (Wednesday, May 22) for a staff education day.
* The Undergraduate Admissions Office will be closed from 1-5 p.m. today (Wednesday, May 22) for a staff in-service.
* The Performance Management Process for classified employees requires a mid-year discussion between April 1 and June 30. You will not assign a rating, but you will discuss the established objectives and competencies and the employee's progress toward meeting these goals. After the discussion with the employee, have him/her sign on page 10 of the form under mid-year discussion signatures to document that the discussion took place. * The Rhatigan Student Center has new information on summer dining operating hours, a map of the summer fence location and detour routes. The construction detours and dates are effective May 25-Sept. 9.

* History professor Jay Price and WSU public history students will join the Kansas Historical Society and Kansas Historical Foundation and go behind the scenes in urban Wichita and present "Wichita ABCs -- Aviation, Buildings, Culture," Friday and Saturday, June 14-15. * WSU has transitioned into a new accreditation model as required by our accreditor, the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). The new model requires the university to engage in a quality improvement project, also known as a Quality Initiative. The university's Quality Initiative is the Graduation Partnership, and the first annual report has been issued.
