Veazey accepts position at Wichita Art Museum

Ulrich Museum Public Relations Manager Teresa Veazey, who has been at Wichita State for more than a decade, has been named public relations manager at the Wichita Art Museum, effective June 24. Veazey's last day at the Ulrich will be June 14.

Madeline McCullough, copywriting instructor in WSU's Elliott School of Communications and a graduate student in communications, has been appointed interim PR manager by Ulrich Director Bob Workman until a search has been completed for Veazey's replacement.

Veazey started at the Ulrich as education curator in 2000 and transitioned to the role of public relations coordinator in 2002. In 2006, she left the Ulrich to work for a local advertising agency but returned to the museum a year later to serve as its public relations manager. Veazey was named interim director of the Ulrich in June 2012, an appointment lasting five months while the search for a new director was conducted.
