Reminders

* Nan Myers will be honored at a retirement reception from 2-4 p.m. today (Wednesday, June 5) in the lower level of Ablah Library. During her 19 years at the University Libraries, Nan Myers has served as special projects cataloger, government documents and patents and trademarks librarian, and more recently as director for Public Services. The reception is a drop-by event with remarks scheduled for 2:30 p.m. All are welcome.

* You're invited to the fourth award of the Maha "Maggie" Sawan Fellowship for Graduate Students at 9 a.m. Friday, June 7, in the reserve section, Leisure Reading Room, Ablah Library. The recipient is Vijay Sankar Venkitachalam, grad student in electrical engineering. This award was established by Edwin Sawan, professor emeritus in electrical engineering and computer science, to honor the memory of his late wife, Maha "Maggie" Sawan.

* Faculty and staff of Wichita State's College of Education invite you to join them in celebrating Frank Lloyd Wright Day on Friday, June 7, at Corbin Education Center. The College of Education's administrative offices are housed in Corbin, designed by the famed American architect.
