* The WSU Summer Choir announces a call for singers age 14 and older to participate in a program titled "A French Connection." Beginning today (Monday, June 3) rehearsals are from 5-6:45 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays in the choir room in Duerksen Music Building (Room C-107). The concert is scheduled for Thursday evening, June 27, in Wiedemann Hall.

* Human Resources reminds all full-time faculty, classified and unclassified staff that the dependent/spouse tuition assistance deadline for fall applications is Monday, July 1.

* Shocker Investment Society is an online student group looking for students from all majors interested in investing. * A reminder that health plan premium discount points must be earned by July 31, 2013, for premium discounts in benefit year 2014. Another date has been made available on Friday, June 21, for the free health screening at WSU.

* Peter Cohen, dean of the College of Health Professions, is stepping down as dean at the end of June. You are invited to a celebration of his tenure as dean at a come-and-go reception from 2-5 p.m. Thursday, June 20, in 400 Ahlberg Hall. Cohen plans to remain as faculty at Wichita State.

* Campus Recreation is seeking input from all faculty and staff in regards to participation and interest in intramurals now until Friday, June 14. The survey should take no more than a few minutes to complete, and answers will be used directly in the possible implementation of a faculty/staff-specific intramural league.
