* Exceptionalities Awareness Day is Tuesday, June 18, an event hosted by the WSU College of Education. Individuals age 16 and older with low vision or blindness and their families are coming to campus on June 18 to learn more about college life -- not only by attending some classes, but also by shadowing faculty and staff in the college to find out more about campus jobs.

* Student Involvement is seeking volunteer staff and faculty who are interested in serving as student organization advisers. The organizations seeking a charter are Pi Kappa Phi (http://pikapp.org/) and Circle K (http://www.circlek.org/AboutUs.aspx). If you are interested in this opportunity or want more information, contact Lyston Skerritt at getinvolved@wichita.edu or 978-3022.

* WSU has transitioned into a new accreditation model as required by our accreditor, the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). The new model requires the university to engage in a quality improvement project, also known as a Quality Initiative. The university's Quality Initiative is the Graduation Partnership, and the first annual report has been issued.
