Local radio personality and DJ for Power 93.9, Greg 'Hitman' Williams will present "So You Want to be a Rapper?", at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 18, in 231 Hubbard Hall. Admission is free. Williams is a summer instructor for TRIO Communication Upward Bound's summer, residentail program. He is teaching audio production to the high schoolers. Williams will discuss his broadcast career, what it takes to be a DJ and enter the rapping world, and how a good education will make the journey more successful. Williams will share many tips about one's voice, enunciation and public speaking skills behind the microphone and in public. His talk is sponsored jointly by TRIO Communication Upward Bound and the College Access Challenge Grant.
