* Faculty, staff and administrators are invited to share best practice sessions/workshops in the annual Institute for Student Learning Assessment Nov. 12 at Kansas State University. The deadline to submit a proposal is Sept. 15. The institute will focus on best of assessment for academic areas, student life units, program coordinators and university level issues.

* The National Endowment for the Humanities provides a $6,000 stipend to support full-time work on a humanities project for a period of two months. Please submit a narrative (no longer than three pages), a two-page resume and a letter of support from your dean to the Office of Research and Technology Transfer via proposals@wichita.edu no later than 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 2.
