Reminders

* Please join us in saying farewell and thanking Valerie Mounes for her years of dedicated service as the degree audit specialist for the Graduate School. A reception will be held in her honor from 3-5 p.m. today (Thursday, June 27) in the LAS Boardroom, 200 Lindquist Hall. Refreshments will be served with comments at 3:30 p.m.

* Free HIV testing will be offered from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. today (Thursday, June 27) at Student Health Services as part of National HIV Testing Day. No appointment is needed and testing is open to students, staff and faculty.

* The WSU Summer Choir presents "A French Connection" at 7:30 p.m. today (Thursday, June 27) in Wiedemann Hall. The program includes a variety of music that is not sung in French, but has a connection to that country.

* The staff of the WSU Foundation will attend its annual retreat today (Thursday, June 27) so the office will be closed. Please leave voice or email messages, or drop off packets/information at the front desk in Woodman Alumni Center.

* The University Bookstore will be closed today (Thursday, June 27) and Friday, June 28, for physical inventory. Normal hours of operation will resume at 8 a.m. Monday, July 1.

* Older courses are scheduled to be removed from Blackboard on Friday, June 28. Instructors should export or archive any older course that they would like to keep. The semesters that will be removed are as follows: spring 2011 and older from bb-archive.wichita.edu, and summer 2011 from blackboard.wichita.edu.
