* Requisitions received at the WSU Foundation by 5 p.m. Wednesday, July 3; checks will be ready around noon Monday, July 8.
* Student Health Services is running a special program for WSU employees who still need to complete their screening to get a discount on next year's health insurance. For $25, SHS will draw the required lab and complete the biometric screenings you need. Stop in at Student Health from 8-11 a.m. Monday through Friday. This program will be available through Monday, July 15. Lab work should be done fasting at least 10 hours, so please do not eat until after your blood is drawn.
* A Beginning Outlook 2010 training is scheduled from 9 a.m.-noon Tuesday, July 16. This hands-on training introduces the user to customizing their Outlook experience. There is focus on why Microsoft setup Outlook the way they did, and how to change things. To register for the class, log into myWSU, select EmpHelp, (orange cube underneath the Weather) and myTraining. Click the Register button to view session details and register for training.
* Dondlinger Construction and the RSC have teamed up to offer the WSU community opportunities to tour the Rhatigan Renewal construction zone.

* The Office of Human Resources has enhanced the employment area of its website to help applicants better understand Wichita State and the Wichita community. These recruiting tools should position WSU to better find candidates to meet our employment needs and attain the goals of the university's new strategic plan for the future needs of our campus. * The Learn More ... 2013 WSU Technology Fair will be held Tuesday, Oct. 29. This annual event helps the WSU community discover the many ways technology is used on campus today. In order for the fair to be a success, your help is needed. Submit your proposal to be a presenter at the fair and share how you use technology in the classroom and workplace today.
