Reminders

* Attention Nine and Ten Month Faculty/Staff: The Annualized Salary Spread Agreement must be returned to Office of Human Resources, Box 15, by today (Monday, July 1). Failure to return the agreement will prohibit the initiation of salary spread for the 2013-2014 academic year. Your appointment notice may say 20 or 22 bi-weekly payments, but if you have submitted an agreement, your salary will be spread over 26 bi-weekly pay periods. * Understanding finance at WSU can be a challenge for budget officers and support staff. On Tuesday, July 23, Lois Tatro will present WSU Finance 101, with information on GU and RU funding, how to stay on top of departmental finances, processing revenue, expenses, BPC cards, travel and more. * "Speech-Language Development in Preschool-Aged Children: A Quick Tour" will be the topic of a presentation by Brian Ray, clinical supervisor, Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 30, at WSU's Child Development Center. * Faculty and staff with middle school-age students are invited to send their children to Future Shocker Camp from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Wednesday, July 10. The cost is $15 and includes program materials, lunch and snacks. Students must be entering grades 6 through 8 in the fall with at least a 2.00 GPA. Reservations are required.

* Faculty and staff are invited to the annual Admissions and Financial Aid Workshops for the latest in admissions information, policies and recruiting practices. Sessions will be held Aug. 28, Sept. 18 and Oct. 8. Enhance your awareness of admissions information and programs, and use it to support recruitment efforts from the perspective of your department. In addition, the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships will present the latest in financial aid guidelines and scholarship practices to interested individuals immediately following the admissions session.
