* Faculty and staff are invited to the annual Admissions and Financial Aid Workshops for the latest in admissions information, policies and recruiting practices. Sessions will be held Aug. 28, Sept. 18 and Oct. 8. Enhance your awareness of admissions information and programs, and use it to support recruitment efforts from the perspective of your department. In addition, the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships will present the latest in financial aid guidelines and scholarship practices to interested individuals immediately following the admissions session.

* Understanding finance at WSU can be a challenge for budget officers and support staff. On Tuesday, July 23, Lois Tatro will present WSU Finance 101, with information on GU and RU funding, how to stay on top of departmental finances, processing revenue, expenses, BPC cards, travel and more. * Faculty, staff and administrators are invited to share best practice sessions/workshops in the annual Institute for Student Learning Assessment Nov. 12 at Kansas State University. The deadline to submit a proposal is Sept. 15. The institute will focus on best of assessment for academic areas, student life units, program coordinators and university level issues.

* The Office of Research and Technology Transfer has implemented ImageNow, that allows research faculty access to new proposal and grant documents from any Internet connection via WebNow. Principal investigators can sign in using their myWSU credentials and will have access to all documents added to their grant/proposal file after June 1, 2013.
