* Adjunct instructors who are teaching online or hybrid courses this fall are invited to attend one of four "Early Bird Blackboard Help" sessions offered by the Media Resources Center this summer. The sessions will be held at 2 p.m. today (Thursday, July 11); and 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 16, and Friday, July 19. Contact patricia.morriss@wichita.edu to RSVP or to schedule a one-on-one session if you are unable to attend one of these sessions.
* Student Health Services has a special program for WSU employees who still need to complete their screening to get a discount on next year's health insurance. For $25, SHS will draw the required lab and complete the biometric screenings you need. Stop in at Student Health from 8-11 a.m. Monday through Friday. This program will be available through Monday, July 15. Lab work should be done fasting at least 10 hours, so please do not eat until after your blood is drawn.
* A Beginning Outlook 2010 training is scheduled from 9 a.m.-noon Tuesday, July 16. This hands-on training introduces the user to customizing their Outlook experience. There is focus on why Microsoft setup Outlook the way they did, and how to change things. To register for the class, log into myWSU, select EmpHelp, (orange cube underneath the Weather) and myTraining. Click the Register button to view session details and register for training.
* Human Resources reminds all non-teaching, benefits-eligible state employees at WSU that the deadline for fall tuition assistance is Friday, July 19.

* Housing and Residence Life needs volunteers to help with move-in from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17. T-shirts and pizza will be provided while supplies last.
