* Understanding finance at WSU can be a challenge for budget officers and support staff. On Tuesday, July 23, Lois Tatro will present WSU Finance 101, with information on GU and RU funding, how to stay on top of departmental finances, processing revenue, expenses, BPC cards, travel and more. * A Beginning Outlook 2010 training is scheduled from 9 a.m.-noon Tuesday, July 16. This hands-on training introduces the user to customizing their Outlook experience. There is focus on why Microsoft setup Outlook the way they did, and how to change things. To register for the class, log into myWSU, select EmpHelp, (orange cube underneath the Weather) and myTraining. Click the Register button to view session details and register for training.
* Discuss your personal financial situation with an experienced TIAA-CREF financial consultant on a confidential basis. Individual counseling sessions will be available Tuesday, July 23; Wednesday, July 24; Tuesday, Aug. 27; and Friday, Aug. 30. RSVP as soon as possible between 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. at 866-843-5640.
