* Are you planning to hire student workers beginning this fall? Career Services is hosting its On Campus Jobs Fair from 1-3 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 1, in 203 Grace Wilkie Hall. * The WSU Foundation Horizon newsletter is now online. Read about the impact Velma Wallace continues to make -- now, with her estate gift. Learn about an incoming student who will receive the Anna Elizabeth Walsh Humanities Scholarship. See the rendering of the new men's basketball locker room renovation, which is being made possible by an anonymous alumnus. Also included is a snippet of a thank you letter written 46 years after receipt of her scholarship.

* The office of the Vice President for Administration and Finance reminds those placing catering orders with Sodexo to also submit a Sodexo Information Sheet prior to all catered events. This sheet is used in expediting the billing process and should be filled out for all events, regardless of the funding source. Send completed forms to Administration and Finance via campus box 47 or by fax at 978-3151.

* Human Resources reminds all non-teaching, benefits-eligible state employees at WSU that the deadline for fall tuition assistance is Friday, July 19.

* The Council on Social Work Education reaccredited the bachelor's and master's programs in Wichita State's School of Social Work for eight more years through June 2021.
