WSU faculty and staff interested in diversity and multiculturalism are encouraged to submit a proposal for a presentation or workshop to the Michael Tilford Conference on Diversity and Multiculturalism Oct. 21-22 at Emporia State University. Named after WSU's Michael Tilford, the conference provides an opportunity for faculty, staff and administrators of Kansas Board of Regents institutions across the state to share ideas and resources for building culturally competent campus communities. Proposals are due by Thursday, Aug. 1. The 2013 conference theme is "Embracing Diversity through Shared Experiences."
