* Nancy Jensen, peer educator at WSU's Center for Community Support and Research, will have a book signing from 7-8:30 p.m. today (Thursday July 25) at Pages Books & Coffee, 605 N. Main St. in Newton. Jensen recently worked with Nathan P. Swink to publish "The Girl Who Cried 'Wolf!'," the heroic story of Nancy's journey through abuse at the hands of the mental health system toward recovery and independent living.

* The National Endowment for the Humanities provides a $6,000 stipend to support full-time work on a humanities project for a period of two months. Please submit a narrative (no longer than three pages), a two-page resume and a letter of support from your dean to the Office of Research and Technology Transfer via proposals@wichita.edu no later than 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 2.
