Reminders

* Because of water line connection work required for the new residence hall construction, water service to Hubbard Hall will be shut off today (Friday, July 26) until about 7 p.m. Hubbard Hall restrooms, water fountains, lavatories and other domestic water services will be out of service. However, restrooms and water services will be available and open in all other campus buildings surrounding Hubbard Hall.

* The Voyager spacecraft and the Van Allen Radiation Belt are among the topics of the 2013 Galaxy Forum upcoming at the Kansas Cosmosphere and Space Center in Hutchinson from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, July 27. Admission is free. WSU physics professor Nick Solomey will give a talk on recent results of astro-particle physics.

* Faculty and staff are invited to atttend the McNair Scholars Program 18th Annual Closing Symposium from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Friday, Aug. 2, at the Hughes Metropolitan Complex. Don't miss this opportunity to recognize students for their research efforts. RSVP to 978-3139 by Tuesday, July 30.

* The Annual Student Involvement Fair will be held from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28, on the east Hubbard lawn. The goal is to have 100 student organizations on site. * A fund has been created to help support WSU faculty/staff in their purchase of a Campus Recreation/Heskett Center membership.
