* All interested faculty and staff are invited to attend the Office of Admissions' Campus Visit Workshop from 3-5 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28, at Marcus Welcome Center. Learn about common student questions, engage in roundtable discussions and hear more about the campus visit scheduling process. Faculty and staff will also share some of their best practices and experiences from meeting with visitors.

* After an internal search, Kerry Wilks has been named the new associate dean of the Graduate School, effective Aug. 5. She is an associate professor of Spanish in the Modern and Classical Languages and Literatures Department, and will continue teaching in the MCLL program.
* Student Activities Council invites all university departments to host their own informational table during Kiss'um Bye, an annual event featuring several inflatable games and an opportunity to win a bookstore scholarship. This year, Kiss'Um Bye will be held from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 21, on the Hubbard Hall east lawn.
